Took a trip to Lithuania in July 2003 for the first time with American friends who had no ties to Lithuania - ELlen, Shaun, and Raj. We met up in Warsaw and took an overnight train to Vilnius. Our first night, we were in a bad car accident, and Shaun landed in the hospital for the 2 weeks with a broken pelvic bone. Thank God everyone else made it out ok.
