Who is Michael Bloomberg?

Hilarious ending to this story:

Do you think the lessons in Atlas Shrugged are applicable to today's economic situation? I've heard a couple people say (before last fall) "Those were different times, when Ayn Rand was writing." Are they so different any more?

Who is John Galt?

There's a lesson in Ayn Rand - don't let objectivists run the economy!

Atlas Shrugged becomes more prophetic by the day. At this rate Ayn Rand will someday be regarded as the next Nostradamas.

Obviously, g-unit, you've never read anything by Ayn Rand and probably have never even read more than one thing about her. Are you aping your favorite communist journalist without understanding the context, or what? That's exactly tho opposite of Ayn Rand's lesson.

Anyway Dariau, that is a hilarious ending. One of the comments is quite right though, that none of the heroes of objectivism lavish themselves like that: they're too sensible. One of the messages is that such decadent people can be born millionaires and end up in the poor house.

I would much prefer an objectivist than a socialist to run the economy! although somewhere in the middle would be nice...
